PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE: 

Magazine: Photographed portraits of 22 Luxury Home Tour Builders around the Twin Cities for the April 2002, June 2002, April 2003, and June 2003 issues of Midwest Home and Garden; Photographed luxury home interiors for the March 2002 issue of Midwest Home and Garden; Photographed a fund-raising event for Minnesota Monthly. 

Textbook: Photographed artist at work for textbook entitled: "Portfolios Grade 6" by Barrett/Kendall Publishing Company. 

Trade Book: Chief portrait photographer for book entitled: “Texas Wisewomen: ‘Let me tell you what I’ve learned,’” published July 2002 and now in its 6th printing; Author and photographer for story entitled “It’s in the Bag,” a chapter in the book, “Silent, They Speak,” a collection of photo documentaries.  

Events:  Photographed the Special Olympics Connecticut Fall Festival 2006. Official Photographer of Minneapolis Uptown Art Fair 2001 and 2002. Covered various events (concerts, sports, etc.) for Arizona Hispana Newspaper. 

Food: Restaurant reviews and on-line restaurant profiles (including two images featured on MSN homepages). 

Portrait: Families, children, babies, high school seniors, engagements sessions, business portraits, animals, proms/homecoming dances in-studio and on-location. 

Wedding: Digital wedding photographer- over 200 weddings photographed. 

Commercial: Four covers for a real estate magazine; Architectural residential interiors for luxury home builders; Product shots for various clients for web and print; 360 degree IPIX images. 

Sports:  Photographed Pilot Pen Pro Tennis Tournament, University of Texas basketball, swimming, and track and field, University of Arizona swimming and gymnastics, Yale football, Olympic rowing, skydiving, St. Paul Saints minor league baseball, soccer. 

Newspaper: Staff Photographer for The Daily Texan, an award-winning student newspaper, Photographer for Arizona Hispana, a bi-weekly Hispanic newspaper in Tucson.

 

DIGITAL RETOUCHING:

Digital Retouch Artist: Digitally retouched, cropped, and prepared orders utilizing Photoshop CS; Prepared, burned images onto CD’s, FTP'd, and sent all orders to the lab. 

 

 

MANAGEMENT:

Digital and Web Photographer/Manager of a Photo Department: Researched, hired, and managed freelance photographers- assigned projects, edited, scanned, and put images on-line, handled freelance paperwork; Scanned all images (prints, slides, negatives) needed in office and manipulated in Photoshop as needed; Scheduled all photo shoots and interacted with clients. 

PHOTO EDITOR:  Photo editor of various documentaries for the book, “Silent, They Speak,” a collection of photo documentaries; photo editor for all freelancers as well as my own work.  

MAGAZINE AND NEWSPAPER LAYOUT AND DESIGN: Magazine and newspaper layout and design for various class projects at The University of Texas. 

WEB DESIGN: Utilized Microsoft FrontPage and html to design, build, and update my own website as well as client websites.
